The Command of the Internal Security Forces said in a statement that their member, Reşid Omer, died on Monday of a heart attack.
The statement said: “We announce the martyrdom of one of our members who dedicated his life to serving his country and society. We offer our condolences to the family and loved ones of our martyr. His sacrifice will continue to be a guiding light on the path of duty and responsibility.”
The statement continued: “Martyr Reşid represented the highest values of discipline and devotion throughout his life. He was an example of loyalty and selflessness in the duties entrusted to him. Until his martyrdom, he fulfilled his responsibilities with faith and honor in the sanctity of the security mission.”
