Kurdish women in France call for participation in Cologne march

The Kurdish Women’s Movement in France (TJK-F) seeks to respond to the process initiated by Abdullah Öcalan with his February 27 ‘Call for Peace and a Democratic Society’ by undertaking reconstruction efforts.

Kurdish women in Mantes-la-Jolie, in the Île-de-France region, also held discussions on their existing problems and their solutions.

In joint discussions, the women stated that the best response to the process was to increase educational activities, strengthen existing organizations, and take to the streets to for actions for the physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.

Women also called for participation in the march for freedom for Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan, scheduled for November 8 in Cologne. They invited everyone, especially women, to join the freedom march in Cologne.
