The Druze National Guard Command announced that attempts by Syrian Transitional Government forces to infiltrate the town of Rîma Hazim in the Siweyda countryside had been repelled.
The statement said, “At 12:15 a.m. (October 7, 2025), terrorist mercenaries affiliated with the terrorist regime attempted to infiltrate the town of Rîma Hazim. Our forces on the front line responded to the attacks and repelled the infiltration attempt. Cleanup operations are underway to ensure that no terrorist elements remain in the area.”
