New footage emerges of HTS massacre at the guesthouse in Suwayda

On July 13, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and affiliated groups attacked the Druze-majority city of Suwayda in Syria.

New documents, footage, and photographs continue to emerge daily regarding the genocidal attacks, which claimed the lives of thousands and displaced thousands more.

According to a reporter for the all-female news agency Jinha, a traditional guesthouse belonging to the al-Badr family was the scene of a horrific massacre during these attacks. Groups wearing black clothing bearing the emblem of the Interior Ministry, affiliated with the interim Damascus administration, killed many civilians here.

In the videos, piles of bodies can be seen stacked up in front of the guesthouse, while two people were recorded pretending to be dead in order to survive. The transformation of the guesthouse, known as a place for hospitality and conversation, into a massacre site once again revealed the extent of violations against civilians in Suwayda.
