The Kurdish Women’s Union in Europe (YJK-E) held a press conference in Essen to present the 33rd International Kurdish Culture Festival that will take place in Dortmund on 13 September.
Speaking at the event, which brought together spokespersons of Kurdish Women’s Assemblies from many regions, YJK-E spokesperson Kezban Doğan said that they will take part in the festival, held annually in Europe.
Kezban Doğan underlined that this period marks an important turning point for the recognition of the Kurdish people’s rights and their protection under the law.
The YJK-E spokesperson also stressed that this declaration of will simultaneously signifies loyalty to Leader Apo and is directly linked to his freedom. Kezban Doğan noted that mass participation in the festival will symbolize the height of this commitment and struggle, calling on everyone to gather at the 33rd International Kurdish Culture Festival.
