Citizens in the Tabqa Canton stated that the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has achieved significant gains in the region based on the values of communal living, suggesting that this model should be implemented throughout Syria.
Speaking to ANHA, Abdulkerim Ehmed said that the experience of the Autonomous Administration has eliminated differences between peoples and concretized the concept of a democratic nation, adding: “We took steps towards establishing peace at great cost. During this process, we fought against attempts to incite the components against each other and against hate speech.”
Ehmed pointed out that sectarian and divisive rhetoric is being used to stir up strife in Syria’s coastal regions and in Suweida.

Yasir El Cuma, who described the diversity of society as the people’s greatest strength, said: “We are experiencing true diversity in North and East Syria. This diversity does not stem from religion, sect, or language; it stems from love for the country. The Democratic Autonomous Administration is a practical, concrete model for the unity of peoples. The blood of the people of Raqqa has merged with the blood of the people of Kobanê and Deir ez-Zor in the struggle for freedom. This is proof that our destinies are intertwined.”
Yasir El Cuma said attempts at sedition had been thwarted and emphasized that the Autonomous Administration model was the most suitable way to build a secure country.

Citizen Edla El Ekeş drew attention to the role given to women by the Autonomous Administration, stating, “Today, women’s place is the place of peace. Thanks to Leader Abdullah Öcalan, women have developed free thought and will. Our representation in the administration is at a fair and effective level.”
Edla El Ekeş stated that the Democratic Autonomous Administration model should be extended to all of Syria, adding, “The Autonomous Administration model is the most concrete proof of peace and social unity.”
