On Sunday, a suicide attacker in northern Syria’s Aleppo blew himself up after detonating an explosive belt.
According to the Sana news agency, affiliated with the Damascus interim government, the attacker was killed, but no one else was killed or injured.
Security sources reported that the blast occurred near a bakery in the city’s al-Meysar district.
Over the weekend, a car bomb also exploded in Damascus, with no reported injuries.
