Supporters of St. Pauli: Defend Rojava, end Erdoğan’s war

St. Pauli played its first match of 2025 in the Bundesliga at the Millerntor Stadium in Hamburg, against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The St. Pauli supporters waved hundreds of People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) flags. They also displayed an enlarged image of a female fighter from the Women’s Protection Units.

The supporters also displayed a large banner reading, “Defend Rojava, end Erdoğan’s war,” to protest the Turkish attacks against Northern and Eastern Syria.
