Another woman abducted in Turkish-occupied Afrin

The Turkish state’s paramilitary criminal network “Military Police”, established in the occupied territories in North-East Syria, continues targeting the local people in an attempt to intimidate and displace them.

42-year-old Îlham Ebdurehman Silêman was abducted by the “Military Police” from Rajo district and taken to the Marat prison in central Afrin, according to reports.

Ebdo Karik, the husband of the abducted woman, mother of five, had also been kidnapped by the invaders a few months ago. The man’s aftermath has remained unknown since.

War crimes have been committed systematically and almost on a daily basis in the region since 2018, when Afrin was occupied. A complete terror regime has been established in the occupied area.

According to the human rights organization, 84 women have been murdered, more than 6 women have committed suicide after being raped, more than 1000 women have been abducted and more than 70 have been raped since Afrin was invaded. It is further reported that at least 216 women were injured during the invasion attacks.
