FCDK-KAWA calls for strong participation in Newroz celebrations to be held in Germany

FCDK-KAWA issued a written statement regarding this year’s Newroz.

The statement dedicated the 50th Newroz to be held in Frankfurt this year to the freedom of Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and political prisoners. “The process we are going through, the hegemon-capitalist powers in the Middle East and the world, chaos-crisis and wars will not help humanity and will only bring death, hunger and oppression. The capitalist-modernity system is trying to prolong its life with wars and is insisting on this deadlock. The solution for peoples to live in peace is the Democratic Nation model.”

The statement added: “Let this Newroz mark the freedom of Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan, the freedom of all political prisoners and the year of peace for the peoples.” The statement called on the Kurdish people and their friends to participate strongly in the Newroz that will be held in Frankfurt on 19 March.
