Young woman, burned with acid by her husband in Sulaymaniyah, dies

In the Kurdistan District of Sulaymaniyah in South Kurdistan, a young woman named Shinyar Huner was burned by her husband who poured naphtha (liquid gas) on her while she was sleeping. Huner, who has been under treatment at the hospital since 18 February passed away.

It has been learned that Shinyar Huner’s body will be buried in the cemetery in Seyidsadik district.

Shinyar Huner was 21 and was the mother of 2 children.
