Kurds in Sydney demand freedom for Abdullah Öcalan

Activists, who gathered in front of the Sydney Democratic Kurdish Community Center (DKTM) held a convoy demonstration on the occasion of the anniversary of the international conspiracy against Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan on 15 February 1999.

In the speech made on behalf of the organizing committee, it was said that “Leader Öcalan represents our will” and that activists will raise the bar of struggle even more and make 2022 the year of freedom for Abdullah Öcalan.

Dozens of cars drove from the DKTM to the city center and passed in front of the Parliament chanting slogans.
