FED-MED calls on people to attend march to be held in Düsseldorf on 13 November

FED-MED said that the Turkish state, which could not militarily defeat the Kurdistan guerrillas, wants to achieve results by using chemical weapons against them. Reminding that chemical weapons are prohibited by international laws, FED-MED will organise a march on Saturday 13 November trying to shake Europe and to mobilize international institutions that are playing blind-deaf-mute to these inhuman practices in Kurdistan. The demonstration in Germany will be held in Düsseldorf. There will be marches in many other countries as well.

In a statement, FED-MED, invited everyone to the march reminding that “for the last six years, the colonialist Turkish state has frequently declared that it will liquidate the PKK and the Kurdistan freedom guerrillas. However, the AKP MHP fascist regime could not break the will of the Kurdistan guerrillas militarily, despite the use of the most advanced military technologies and conventional weapons in Kurdistan and the full support of all international powers.”

The statement continued: “There is no doubt that the Turkish state is now trying to achieve results by using chemical weapons against the Kurdistan freedom guerrillas. Turkey uses banned weapons in front of the whole world. The international powers and anti-war institutions, who stand up when a minor violence occurs elsewhere in the world, do not show the necessary reaction to these inhuman practices in Kurdistan, on the contrary, they persistently play blind, deaf and dumb.

We, as Kurds living in Europe, want all relevant institutions and organizations to act sensitively and fulfil all their responsibilities so that these inhumane practices come to an end and the colonialist Turkish state is subjected to the necessary penal sanctions.

We will not remain silent and inactive until we end these inhuman brutal attacks.”
