World Human Rights Organization to carry out investigation on Turkish use of chemical weapons

Continuing its work in the US state of Arizona, the World Human Rights Organization held a joint meeting with the Halabja Chemical Victims Association.

Many people attended the meeting on “The Lost Children of Halabja” at the Culture and Art Center Hall.

The chemical weapons used by the Turkish state against guerrillas have been on the agenda recently and were also discussed at the meeting. The organization said that they will carry out an investigation in the region as soon as possible.

In the statement regarding the meeting, World Human Rights Organization director Seyid Selah Baxçeyi said: “We gathered here to carry out a project for the missing children of Halabja. We want to find these missing children. We will send their files to the Human Rights Organization Office in Arizona. We believe that this is a good first step to find out what happened to the missing children of Halabja.”
