HDP delegation led by co-chair Pervin Buldan meet with French political representatives

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) delegation led by co-chair Pervin Buldan and consisting of HDP deputy co-chair of the Foreign Relations Commission Feleknas Uca and Hakkari Deputy Sait Dede continue their meetings in France.

On Tuesday, the delegation held meetings with political groups in the French National Assembly.

After the first meeting with the General Secretary of the French Socialist Party, Olivier Faure, and the party’s national secretary, Dylan Boutiflat, the delegation met with Vice President of the French Communist Party Pierre Laurent, Communist Party Group President André Chassaigne, Senator Pierre Dharreville and Communist Party Foreign Affairs Officer Pascal Torre.

In the afternoon, the delegation held a meeting with the French Left Party and the France Insoumise Parliamentary Group.

The meeting was attended by Jean-Luc Melenchon, one of the leading names of the France Insoumise Group and the President of France candidate, Éric Coquerel, deputy chair of the party, and Mathilde Panot, member of Parliament, as well as Left party’s chair, Jean-Christophe Sellin.

During the meetings, views were exchanged on the political developments in Turkey and the region, as well as the relations between France and Turkey were discussed.

The delegation will continue its meetings today with representatives of other groups in the French parliament.
