Activists in Freiburg celebrate 15 August anniversary

Photos of Mahsum Korkmaz (Agit), the leading commander of the 15 August 1984 initiative, and Zeynep Kınacı (Zilan) were hung in the area where the celebration for the 15 August anniversary was held.

After a minute’s silence in memory of the martyrs of the revolution in Kurdistan and the world, DKTM co-chair Salih Hezex delivered a speech.

He saluted the 15 August initiative and paid tribute to all martyrs in the person of commander, Agit.

Kurdish politician Abdullah Demirbaş spoke at the event, Semir Özmen on behalf of the Assyrian people, and Die Linke MP Tobias Bliger made speeches.

After the speeches, Hozan Cömert and Destan took the stage.
