Turkish soldiers torture two young people trying to cross the border

Ebdullah Ednan Cuma, from the village of Cim Heran in Kobanê, faced torture by the Turkish state while trying to cross to Bakur Kurdistan with a friend.

The young people who tried to cross the border at around 4am on Wednesday were spotted by Turkish soldiers on the other side of the border. The young people who were shot at were tortured after they were caught.

The young people said that they were thrown unconscious in Kobanê after the torture they were subjected to and they were taken to hospital by the Internal Security Forces.
