People of Manbij protest the Turkish state’s attacks

People in Manbij’s rural villages of El Muhterêq and El Farat took to the streets to protest the invasion onslaught of the Turkish army and allied mercenaries.

The growing attacks were condemned in the action, which was also attended by members of the Manbij Democratic Civil Institution and the Syrian Future Party Assembly.

One of the activists, Sultan Ebdulhamid, criticized the invading Turkish army’s attacks on the region and stated that they will continue to fight the attacks.

Mihemed Xêr Şêxo, Co-Chair of the Manbij Executive Council, stated that the Autonomous Administration consistently preserves the values of neighbouring countries and does not launch any attacks.

Mihemed Xêr Şêxo responded to the Turkish state’s “total genocide” offensive by stressing that even water is being used as a weapon of war against the people of Northern and Eastern Syria.

Refif Al Semran, Spokesperson for the Al Muhteriq and Al Farat Women of Syrian Future Party, stressed that the Turkish state has “aided terrorist and gang groups” since Manbij’s liberation.
