SDF captures 34 mercenaries and supporters in the countryside of Raqqa

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Center said that a security and search operation was carried out in the eastern countryside of Raqqa. SDF and YPJ forces participated in the operation.

The statement said that the operation was launched upon intelligence received and added that 4 mercenaries and 30 people working for them were caught during the searches conducted in the camps where the mercenaries were hiding. Along with the mercenaries, a large number of weapons, ammunition and military clothing were also seized.

“Our forces will resolutely continue the security operations to establish peace and security in the region,” said the statement.
