Şenyaşar family to continue their justice vigil in Ankara

The justice vigil in front of Urfa courthouse launched by Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons in an armed attack organized by the bodyguards and relatives of AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar who was injured in the same attack, is continuing on its 165th day. The mother and son arrived in front of the courthouse in the early hours of the morning and started the Justice Vigil in the area called “Şenyaşar Family Justice Corner”.

Ferit Şenyaşar called on the families who are fighting for justice in different provinces to fight together. “There has been public interest in our struggle for justice all over Turkey. Although some national media outlets keep ignoring us, parliamentarians and non-governmental organizations are already familiar with our struggle. There are many people who have been subjected to injustice like us. There are dozens of cases, such as Rabia Naz, Umuda Gündüz, Mısra Öz, Soma and Suruç cases,” Ferit Şenyaşar said.

‘COME, LET’S SHOUT TOGETHER’

“Since it is judicial recess, we continue our struggle in front of the Urfa Courthouse. When it is over, we will carry this struggle to Ankara. We will come together with families who have been subjected to injustice like us and make our voices louder. I am calling on all people who have been subjected to injustice: Come, our demand is common, let’s shout together so that the law of the superiors will come to an end,” Şenyaşar added.

“The law does not allow the deputies and their families to carry out massacres. The Turkish public, especially the people of Urfa, are following this persecution in front of the courthouse. We seek justice. We will not give up,” the family said on their social media account, by tagging the Ministry of Justice, Provincial Security Directorate, Agency Urfa and Parliamentary General Assembly accounts.
