Nezire Gewriyê: The Autonomous Administration is a party to the solution to the Syrian crisis

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Jazira region continues the public meetings it began on 10 August. Opinion leaders of the region and many people attended the meeting held in Til Temir, in the province of Hesekê. The developments in the region and the solution to the Syrian crisis were discussed by participants.

Jazira region Democratic Autonomous Administration Executive Council co-chair, Nezire Gewriyê, Jazira region Justice Council co-chair Refiq Cemil, Jazira Economy Committee co-chair Mehmûd Mihemed, Jazira Fuel Directorate executive Ebduselam Ebas, Jazira Public Relations Office executives Dewranek, Canton Council co-chair Semer Abdullah and Hesekê Ecology and Municipalities Committee co-chair Majda Emin attended the meeting.

Nezire Gewriyê said that the administration is nothing without the will of the people and emphasized the importance of reflecting this will in the administration. “Those who divert the Syrian revolution from its purpose continue to spread terror. The Autonomous Administration has tried to transform the Middle East since the Syrian revolution began. The Turkish state and Iran cause the confusion in the region to deepen. The Ottoman dreams of the Turkish state are delaying the resolution of the Syrian crisis.”

The Autonomous Administration is the key to solving the Syrian crisis, said Nezire Gewriyê adding: “So far, attempts to resolve the Syrian crisis have failed. Because not all components in the region are included in the negotiations. It was not possible for the solution negotiations, from which the Autonomous Administration was excluded, to succeed. Everyone should sit at the dialogue table to be established to search for a solution.”
