Mine blast kills a child in Sherawa, Afrin

A previously planted landmine exploded in the village of Meyasa in the Sherawa district of Turkish-occupied Afrin city on Thursday.

The explosion claimed the life of 15-year-old Mihemed Mihemed and left another civilian injured.

The unidentified injured resident has been taken under treatment in hospital.
