Mothers of guerrillas: The KDP is acting as the Turkish state wants

KDP forces attacked a group of guerrillas in Xelifan on 26 July. Since then, no news has been received from the guerrillas.

Mothers of guerrillas told ANHA that the KDP is acting according to the Turkish state.

Iqlima Hisên, mother of two guerrillas, said: “The Turkish state is trying to start a fratricide war. Kurds should not fall into these games. The KDP is trying to make us fight each other. The Turkish state is using the KDP to realize its plans.”

Fadiya Ismail, mother of HPG Guerrilla Ednan Mihemed (Mitan), also condemned the KDP complicity in the crimes of the Turkish state and called on the KDP not to play into the enemy’s hands. Describing the KDP’s attack on the guerrillas as ‘betrayal’, Fadiya Ismail added: “We must stand by the guerrillas who are defending the Kurdish people.”

Fadiya Ismail warned that if the KDP insists on this policy, it will cause great harm to the Kurdish people.
