Guerîla TV releases footage of action carried out in Heftanin on 1 August

Guerîla TV broadcast the footage of the action carried out by guerrillas on 1 August in Heftanin region of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The HPG Press Center issued a statement saying that “as part of the Cenga Xabur Revolutionary Campaign, in the Heftanîn region, a vehicle used by the contras carrying military supplies to the invaders in Girê Koxê Mele Yehya in the Keşan area was taken under control. On 1 August, at 14:40, the vehicle was targeted and hit on the hill. 2 invaders were punished and the vehicle belonging to the contras was hit. The invading Turkish army, which could not intervene in the scene for a long time, removed its casualties from the area by helicopters in the evening.”
