“Police deleted all surveillance camera records around HDP Izmir office”

It is reported that all the city surveillance cameras that recorded Onur Gencer, who attacked the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Izmir office yesterday morning and murdered the party employee Deniz Poyraz, were confiscated by the police and the images of the cameras were deleted.  

Speaking to Mezopotamya Agency (MA), shopkeepers around the HDP headquarters revealed that the police formatted the surveillance cameras after taking the camera recordings of the past week.

The shopkeepers stated that the police did not cite any legal justification while formatting the surveillance cameras.
