Activists in Basel protest the Turkish attacks against Maxmur

Basel Rojava Committee organised a rally in Claraplatz to protest the attacks carried out by the Turkish state against Maxmur Refugee Camp. The action was joined by Swiss youth organizations and Democratic Force Union components.
In the action, a banner with the inscription ‘Now is the time for solidarity with the Kurdish people against the invasion and massacre attacks of the Turkish state’ was carried.

Throughout the action, calls for solidarity with the Kurdish people were made and the silence and support of the European states to the attacks was condemned.
The action ended with a statement which said, “We will continue to take to the streets until the attacks end.”
