Kurdish youth in Drancy and Marseille protest the Turkish state and the KDP

TCŞ (Revolutionary Youth Movement) activists gathered in front of the Drancy Kurdish Community Center on Saturday evening and marched after a minute silence in memory of the martyrs of the Kurdistan revolution.

During the march the youth condemned the attacks carried out by Turkey on South Kurdistan and demanded freedom for Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan. The march ended with slogans in front of Drancy town hall.

TCŞ activists also organized a march in the city of Marseille in the south of the country.

Young people gathered in Belle de Mai on Saturday evening to protest both the Turkish invasion attacks, the bombing of Maxmur Camp and the KDP’s cooperation with the Turkish state.

A banner saying “Stop the fratricide attacks immediately” was carried throughout the march.

The march ended with the call to “all the peoples of Kurdistan to take to the streets against these genocidal invasion attacks and treacherous attitudes”.
