Turkish police torture a teenager with gun in Batman

A young man was subjected to police violence in Batman’s central Bayındır neighborhood.

The police wanted to detain the young man who was recently released from prison on probation on the grounds that he did not go to the police station and sign. An argument broke out between the family and the police officers who gathered in front of the young man’s house.

A footage shows that one of the two policemen fires a gun. The same policeman kicks the young man with a gun and hits him on the head. It is seen that the policeman withdraws after a woman’s reaction.

The young man, who was injured by the police with a gun, was later detained and taken to the Batman Provincial Security Directorate.
