KCDK-E calls on people to join the protest to be held in front of the US today

In a written statement, the KCDK-E co-presidency Council said: “The genocidal Turkish state’s war against the Kurdish people continues in front of the eyes of the world and with the approval of all international powers, especially the United States.”

The protest will take place in front of the US Embassy in Brussels.

The KCDK-E said in a written statement: “We are mobilizing to protest the hypocrisy of NATO and the United States for watching in silence the attacks carried out by Turkey. We call on NATO, which approves cross-border attacks and operations aimed at destruction, to take a stand.”

The KCDK-E added: “The PKK movement has been fighting for 40 years to protect the Kurdish language, identity and culture and to give the Kurdish people a status against the 100-year-old concept of denial and annihilation implemented by the Turkish state. The PKK has been defined “not as a terrorist, but a warring party” by Belgium’s highest court. With NATO’s partnership and silence, the Kurdish genocide has been legitimized.”

The KCDK-E reminded that the action today will take place at 11 in Brussels in Boulevard du Régent 27, in front of the US Embassy.

The statement urged “our people, revolutionaries, democrats, intellectuals, opponents and all their friends to join the protest against war and aggression.”
