HBDH carries out simultaneous actions in Amed province

The Peoples’ United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH) Kurdistan Committee continues its actions as part of the Martyr Sinan Revolutionary Revenge Campaign. The HBDH carried out simultaneous actions in 3 different regions of Amed at night on May 24.

The HBDH Kurdistan Committee released a written statement, announcing the following details of their latest actions in Amed on May 24,

Our militias targeted the police department building with fragmentation blast bombs. The fascist Turkish state, in fear and panic, deployed dozens of police officers and cordoned off the area for a while.

At around midnight, our militias also targeted the check point of a prison. The prison area was cordoned off as a whole. The results of the action couldn’t be clarified.

In the evening hours, the road to the same prison was controlled by our militia and the transportation was stopped for a while.”

The statement said that the Turkish state has fallen in despair as a result of the guerrilla and prison resistance and added the following:

“Our latest actions pay tribute to the ongoing resistance in Turkey’s prisons. We also call upon our peoples and comrades to adopt self-defense everywhere. As the HBDH Militia, we call on all the oppressed to endorse the guerrilla and prison resistance and eradicate fascism.

Our action was carried out in memory of all May martyrs in the persons of comrade Sinan Dersim, a member of the HBDH Executive Board and comrade Kasım Engin, a member of the PKK Executive Committee.”
