780 dead in Gaza since the ceasefire

Three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike carried out near Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, at midnight. According to civil defense officials in the area, the attack took place in the northwest of the city.

On the other hand, Israeli warplanes conducted intense flights over southern Gaza throughout the night.

A woman killed by fire from the sea

In the morning hours, a Palestinian woman was killed as a result of fire opened from Israeli warships off the northern coast of Gaza. Local sources reported that the attack targeted civilians.

Death toll exceeds 72,000

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, at least 72,553 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023. The vast majority of the victims are civilians.

According to United Nations data, more than half of those killed—approximately 38,000—are women and girls. UN Women states that at least 47 women and girls are killed on average each day.

Nearly 780 dead since the start of the ceasefire

Despite the fragile ceasefire that came into effect on October 10, attacks have continued almost daily in the region. Since the beginning of the ceasefire, nearly 780 Palestinians have been killed.

UNICEF employees also targeted

Earlier this month, it was announced that two drivers working for UNICEF were killed by Israeli soldiers in northern Gaza. The incident increased concerns over the safety of international organizations.

Reconstruction

Meanwhile, it was reported that the “Peace Council” established in Davos by US President Donald Trump is holding talks with Dubai-based logistics company DP World regarding the management of infrastructure and humanitarian supply chains in Gaza.

The talks are said to include organizing the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and providing logistical support for the reconstruction process.
