20 political prisoners transferred from Evin Prison, denied contact with families

According to a report by the Voice of Prisoners in East Kurdistan and Iran, 20 political prisoners have been transferred from Evin Prison to Ghezel Hesar Prison over the past few days, and all contact with their families has been severed.

It was reported that the prisoners have not been able to make any phone calls to their families following the transfer, causing increased concerns about the prisoners’ health conditions, detention conditions, and security.

The report stated that there is a high likelihood that these prisoners will be placed in solitary confinement. No official or clear information has been provided by the authorities regarding the condition of the prisoners so far.
