As part of an investigation launched into social media posts regarding school attacks in Urfa (Riha) and Maraş (Mereş), teams from the Child Branch of the Bursa Provincial Police Department detained 10 people who were alleged to have shared posts claiming that attacks would be carried out at various schools in the city.
Among those referred to the courthouse, five were arrested, three were placed under house arrest, and two were released after giving statements to the prosecutor.
In Samsun, seven people, six of them minors, were taken into custody. One person was placed under house arrest, while six were released under judicial control. Two individuals were also banned from using digital devices and the internet.
