The Iraqi Parliament stated that the process for the presidential election has now been clarified. According to the announcement, voting for the presidency will take place during the session starting at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday 11 April.
On 6 April, Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbusi had said that the date of the session would be determined later and also noted that the names of members of parliament who fail to attend the session would be made public.
