Last night, a series of drone attacks were carried out near the border of Hewlêr (Erbil) province. As a result of the attacks, a woman and a man from the same family lost their lives, while three children were injured.
According to available information, two drones attacked the city of Hewlêr last night, but they were shot down by the air defense system.
In addition, two drones also crashed in the city of Çarqurbe. It was reported that the drones fell on a military base belonging to the 6th brigade in Çarqurbe. According to some sources, there were no casualties in that incident.
On the same night, in the village of Cergezewî in the Ziraret area of Hewlêr province, a drone struck a house. As a result of the attack, a woman and a man were killed and three children were injured.
Since February 28, an indirect and intense conflict has been ongoing between Iran and the US-Israel. So far, 16 civilians have been killed, and 96 people have been injured.
