Governor of Hesekê meets with government officials in Damascus

As part of official talks to monitor the service and administrative circumstances in Hesekê, Governor Nureddin Ehmed held meetings over the past two days in Damascus with ministers and officials affiliated with the Syrian transitional government. The discussions addressed strengthening cooperation between central and local institutions and improving basic services.

In his meeting with Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Hind Qebawat, Ehmed emphasized the importance of improving coordination among relevant institutions and increasing joint efforts between different bodies.

The parties also evaluated methods for integrating employees into the administrative structure, as well as institutional and administrative arrangements and ways to improve the functioning of institutions in Hesekê.

The Governor of Hesekê also met with Imadeddin Hemed, Director General of the Syrian Postal Corporation, to assess the operations and services of the Hesekê Post Office.

In his meeting with Minister of Finance Mohammed Yasir Berniye, Governor Ehmed discussed revitalizing financial services and supporting stability and development.

The meeting also addressed reopening financial administrations in Hesekê and reactivating branches of state banks, particularly the Agricultural Bank.

According to the governorate, the meetings were conducted as part of efforts to accelerate the functioning of public institutions, improve basic services, and expand development opportunities in the Cizîrê region.
