A delegation consisting of representatives of women’s organizations operating in India visited the house where Leader Apo was born, located in the village of Amara in the Halfeti (Xelfetî) district of Urfa (Riha), following their program in Amed.

Members of Tevgera Jinên Azad (Free Women’s Movement – TJA) also took part in the visit. The delegation was welcomed by Mehmet Öcalan and Ali Öcalan, as well as by the removed-from-office Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Xelfetî Co-Mayors Saniye Bayram and Mehmet Karayılan, district organization representatives, and many others.

During the visit, Mehmet Öcalan and Ali Öcalan were asked questions regarding Leader Apo’s health condition during the most recent meeting and the issues he had raised.

The Indian women in the delegation also shared how they became acquainted with Leader Apo’s paradigm and the impact this thought has had on the work they carry out.
