In the districts of İdil and Cizre in Şırnak, at least 20 young people were detained during house raids carried out in the early morning hours. It was reported that the detainees, taken into custody as part of an investigation launched by the Şırnak Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on allegations of “terrorist propaganda,” were transferred to the Şırnak Provincial Police Department.
It was also reported that the detained youths were subjected to torture, and the number of detentions may increase.
