Iranian officials stated that at least 120 museums, historical structures, and cultural sites were damaged in the attacks carried out by the United States and Israel.
Ahmed Alavi, an official from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage in Tehran, said in a statement to state television that numerous cultural structures across different provinces of the country were directly targeted.
Alavi stated: “At least 120 museums, historical buildings, and cultural sites in various provinces were directly targeted and sustained severe structural damage.”
