61 women executed in Iran in one year

The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) published a report on one year of rights violations against women in Iran and Rojhilat Kurdistan.

According to the report, between March 21, 2025 and March 21, 2026, 61 women were executed in Rojhilat Kurdistan and Iran, and 13 women were sentenced to death.

The report also stated that during the same period, more than 74 cases of rape were recorded, 30 femicides occurred, and 187 incidents of domestic violence were documented.

It also noted that 13 women were detained for refusing the mandatory headscarf, 4 women were arrested, and 11 women were summoned to courts and intelligence units.

Additionally, 7 women were interrogated by the forces of the Ministry of Intelligence.
