Thousands of people from all four parts of Kurdistan took part in the torchlight march ahead of tomorrow’s Newroz celebrations in Binarê Qendîl.
As part of the Newroz night events, young people created a choreography of the Kurdistan map with torches during the march held in the village of Enzê. The visually striking performance drew great interest from the crowd.
Following the march, Newroz night celebrations began. People continued the celebrations by dancing around the lit Newroz fires.
The celebrations in Binarê Qendîl will continue tomorrow afternoon with a large-scale event.
