In the morning hours, a fire occurred at the central building of Ronahi TV located in the city of Qamishlo. According to ANHA news, the fire started in the main studio section where the channel’s broadcasting activities are carried out and quickly spread to the control room and areas where technical equipment is located.
As a result of the fire, serious material damage occurred in the studio and the control room, and the channel’s live broadcast was temporarily halted.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control. Relevant authorities launched an investigation at the site.
While the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, the relevant institutions have begun an investigation to examine the incident in all its aspects.
