Traffic resumes on the international M4 highway

After the international M4 highway—passing through the countryside of Hesekê province and near the village of El Tewîla west of Til Temir—was reopened, limited transportation resumed.

According to reports, private vehicles, trucks and passenger buses have begun passing along the M4 highway and traffic on the road has returned to normal.

A citizen named Zehra Ehmed stated that she encountered no obstacles on the road while returning from a visit to her relatives in the village of Amiri, thanking the Internal Security Forces.

Another citizen, Mihemed El Bekir from the village of Dibsa in Serêkaniyê, said he traveled to the countryside of Til Temir and confirmed that the road had reopened to traffic and that he faced no obstacles.

The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) began reestablishing checkpoints yesterday on the international highway near the village of Tewîla west of Til Temir, accompanied by commanders from the Internal Security Forces of the Syrian Transitional Government and security officials from the Jazira and Aleppo regions.
