First group of forcibly displaced people returning to Afrin sets out from Qamishlo

Today, 400 families from the Afrin districts of Shiye, Jindires, and Mabata will depart from the Jazira region toward Afrin. Families living in Qamishlo are continuing their preparations to travel to Hesekê. From there they will then set out together toward Afrin.

From the city of Qamishlo, 50 buses and 75 minibusses prepared by the Afrin–Shehba Displaced People’s Council, as well as private vehicles, will head toward the city of Hesekê.
