The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) announced that, to facilitate citizens’ travel and ensure the security of key roads, Asayish forces, in coordination with security forces affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government, have established joint checkpoints on the roads leading to Hesekê province.
The center stated that this step is a precautionary measure taken to reopen main roads and allow traffic and trade to resume. It added that forces on the ground have positioned themselves along the strategic routes connecting Hesekê with Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor provinces, as well as the road linking Hesekê to Til Birak.
The Asayish Media Center emphasized that this field coordination primarily aims to ease the burden on travelers and ensure smooth intercity movement, while also maintaining the highest level of security to guarantee safety and stability in the region.
