Protests launched in Iran and Rojhilat (Eastern) Kurdistan on 28 December 2025 against social, political and economic problems are continuing with general strikes led by students. Students at eight universities across Iran and Rojhilat Kurdistan have called for a general strike on 27–28 February.
The universities that signed the call and the details of the planned actions are as follows:
Students at Allameh University will gather in front of the monument at 12:00.
Students at the central campus of Shahrekord Azad will gather at Shaghayegh Square at 12:00.
Students from the Science and Research Branch of Azad University will gather in front of the faculty building at 12:00 on 27 and 28 February. Depending on participation, a sit-in will be held in front of the campus.
Students at Tehran Central Azad University will gather at 12:00 in front of the main building.
Students will gather at 12:00 in front of the Sohanak Faculty of Arts.
Students at Bandar Abbas Azad University will gather at 09:00.
Students at the Faculty of Medicine of Tehran Azad University will gather at 12:00 in front of the New and Paramedical Sciences Faculty.
Students at Rasht Azad University will gather at 11:00 in front of the campus building.
