Protests continue at universities in Iran

According to footage shared on digital media networks, protests were held today at Amir Kabir University, Tehran Beheshti University, Khaje Emiri University, and Sharif University with the slogans “Jin, jiyan, azadî” and “Death to the dictator.” As usual, the regime forces intervened harshly against the protesters.

University students launched the protests in response to the killing and arrest of students during demonstrations in Kurdish cities and across Iran.

The protests at universities began on Saturday, February 21. During the demonstrations, clashes occurred between protesters and Iran’s paramilitary Basij forces.
