Groups affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government have been besieging Kobanê since January 20. Many patients had been continuing their medical treatment outside Kobanê. One of them was 12-year-old Dildar Rêzan Hiso.
Dildar’s family had been treating him for a long time at Al-Jamii Hospital in Aleppo. After the 26th day of the siege, Dildar’s body could no longer endure, and he needed to be taken to Aleppo.
Yesterday, Dildar Hiso died at Kobanê Hospital due to Breez disease. According to information provided by his family, his doctor in Aleppo could have treated him and prevented his death. However, due to the siege of Kobanê and the closure of the road between Kobanê and Aleppo, his family was unable to take him to Aleppo.
