Mazloum Abdi, General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and Ilham Ahmed, Co-Chair of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Munich.
Answering journalists’ questions after the meeting, Abdi said that the Syrian Foreign Minister was also present at the meeting. Abdi stated: “The meeting went generally well. We discussed integration issues. We talked about the situation in Syria and Syria’s future. Overall, it went well.”
In response to a question about the situation in Rojava, Abdi said: “There is a ceasefire and there are also some problems. We are working to resolve these problems.”
