The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) shared its report on human rights violations on the 42nd day of the protests. The report stated that at least 6,961 people were killed in attacks by the Iranian regime against protesters. It was also reported that 51,465 protesters have been detained so far, and 11,021 protesters have been injured.
According to the report, 6,507 of those killed were protesters. Among them were 176 children under the age of 18. The figures also include 214 members of security forces affiliated with the Iranian regime. In addition, 62 civilians who were killed despite not participating in the protests were recorded, and 112 university students were detained.
It was further stated that 11,480 people have been summoned to Iran’s security units for questioning so far, and 311 protesters were forced to make confessions.
222 killed Kurdish protesters identified
Meanwhile, a report published by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network stated that the identities of 222 Kurdish protesters who were killed by Iranian state forces during protests in Rojhilat Kurdistan and Iran have been verified.

The report noted that since the beginning of the protests in Rojhilat Kurdistan and Iran, 222 Kurdish protesters have been killed by Iranian state forces in various cities, and their identity details have been confirmed.
It was also stated that those killed were recorded in the cities of Kermanshah, Ilam, Tehran, Alborz, Lorestan, Razavi Khorasan, Isfahan, Hormozgan, and Khuzestan.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network announced that information and identities of many other Kurdish citizens killed during the protests have also reached them, and that verification investigations are ongoing.
The report further stated that Iranian state forces used heavy machine guns during the protests and opened direct fire on protesters. It was also reported that security institutions demanded large sums of money from families in exchange for handing over the bodies. Families were reportedly pressured to have their children’s death certificates state “death due to a fall from height” and to shift responsibility for the killings onto the protesters themselves.
